Angie Annelus defended her title in the women's 200 meters by winning a close race in 22.16 seconds at the NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships in Austin, Texas. Annelus, who became the first female athlete to repeat in the 200 since LSU standout Kimberlyn Duncan won three in a row from 2011-13, also contributed to USC winning its first 4x100-meter relay national title since 2000 in 42.21 seconds. Annelus added a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter dash in 11.12 seconds.
