Discus thrower Alexandra Collatz and hurdler Jaide Stepter were named College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Capital One Academic All-District 8 first team for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom, it was announce on May 29. By being named to the 11-woman District 8 team, Collatz and Stepter advance to the Capital One Academic All-American Team ballot where the first, second and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
