Allie Jones, a graduate student-athlete at USC, won the women's elite heptathlon with a lifetime-best 6,217 points at the 63rd Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Jones eclipsed the USC program record of 6,079 points established in 1988 by Wendy Brown, in addition to elevating to the No. 11 competitor in collegiate history. Jones won the 100-meter hurdles in a wind-legal 13.10 seconds, triumphed in the 200 meters in a wind-legal 23.43 seconds, prevailed in the long jump with a wind-aided 20-5.25 (6.23m) effort and was victorious in the 800 meters in 2:13.03.
